Fact Sheets
Our Fact Sheets outline our approach to supporting change within public-sector organisations.
Service Triage
Service Triage is a systematic, rapid, service-level review approach designed specifically to help service heads and managers understand and get a clear picture of:
- What is currently done – statutory and discretionary services
- Does it add value from the customer’s perspective?
- Can it be stopped?
- Can it be done more efficiently or effectively by you or someone else?
- What are the potential costs and benefits of the stop/improve/change opportunities?
If you have to make in-year savings, choose which discretionary services to stop delivering and which services to deliver differently in the future, then Service Triage can help.

Transformation Fact Sheet
The Government’s Spending Review has crystallized the need to redesign our public-sector organisations and services in order to meet community needs more effectively and at a lower cost. It is, therefore, essential we transform the way we think and work to assure that change is sustainable and beneficial to our service users.
This Fact Sheet for people working in the public sector explores the challenges you might be facing and outlines how Alexander’s approach to transformation can help you combine a focus on cash releasing quick wins with a structured redesign of services that will improve or maintain performance and reduce your cost base by the required amount.
